Genuine beginnings
I've finally started a new painting. I've been planning on doing it for some time now. It is based on the apartment and we stayed in while in Berlin last October. I loved how the room looked and the view from the patio window.
I started a second painting of the same subject half way in the middle of the first one. I'm glad because it ga
ve me a new way to think about painting this interior with all its straight lines. I'm excited to get it done. It's a different technique than to which I am acustomed. I'm using hot press archs paper and its if really smooth and I have to make sure it is really dry.
Take a look at my workspace and my genuine beginnings.

Hi Victoria,
I like really your art on your blog site. I tried to check out your portfolio but the work computers don't have the flash drive or whatever is needed to view. I'm curious--have you finished the Berlin apartment painting? I'd love to see your work in progress or the finished product! (I used to live in Munich and also loved the apartment I lived in there as well.)
